So, on Wednesday, I was theorizing about the end of the world and how it was going to happen that day because time would so exactly line up that it would be 12:34:56 7/8/9. However, the world obviously did not end. So, now I have a new theory - the world is actually going to end on August 7, 2009 at 12:34:56 Greenwich, UK time. Why Greenwich time? Because it is the zero hour that all other time zones are based on. And why August 7th? Because most Europeans write "August 7" as 7/8 and we Americans just changed it as a final "suck it, England" when we separated. So, at 12:34:56 7/8/9, the world is going to end. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether it will be am or pm. We'll see.
(You know what's sad about that? August 7 is my aunt's birthday. Too bad.)
